To celebrate Saint Francis of Assisi's 800th anniversary and Jubilee year, join Notre Dame Sustainability in our current temporary exhibition Mimmo Paladino: Present into Past to view art related to the patron saint of animals and the environment. We will then move outside to the Charles B. Hayes Family Sculpture Park and learn about how this natural landscape on campus is reclaiming nature, both through the curated art and carefully selected plant life.
After an up-close look at these specially selected works, Museum staff will guide us in a discussion to share our perspectives, questions, and ideas as we explore how art can invite us into deeper celebration of our Earth during the Season of Creation.

What is the Season of Creation?
The Season of Creation is a time to renew our relationship with our Creator and all creation through celebration, conversion, and commitment together. During the Season of Creation, we join together in both prayer and action for our common home. The Season of Creation begins on September 1 and ends on October 4, the feast day of Saint Francis of Assisi.
