Family Guide

Be sure to pick up a fun-for-all-ages guide at the Visitor Services Desk when you arrive. It contains a variety of activities you can use together in the galleries.

Look and a Book Tote Bags

Check out a Look and a Book tote bag at the Visitor Services Desk. Each one focuses on a different work of art in the collection and includes questions to get everyone looking closely, a fun picture book to read together, and an in-gallery activity. Perfect for ages 4 and up.

Where can I find changing tables and restrooms?

Restrooms with changing tables are located on all Levels and single occupancy restrooms are located on the Lower Level.

Can I bring a stroller and diaper bag into the galleries?

The Museum is stroller friendly. Any bag that cannot be stored in your stroller must be placed in the coat room on Level 1. Strollers can also be stored in the coat room. Backpack baby carriers are not allowed in the galleries.

Can I bring along a baby bottle or snack for my toddler while strolling the galleries?

No food or drink can be consumed in the galleries. You can utilize the Atrium or Ivan’s Cafe for feeding. There are drinking fountains on each Level near the bathrooms.

Do you have any lactation rooms or quiet spaces I can use?

If you’re looking for a private place to breastfeed, a lactation room is located on Level 3. Visit the Visitor Services Desk for access.

Is there seating available throughout the Museum?

While there is limited seating available throughout the Museum, we also have folding stools available in the coatroom on Level 1. If it suits you, you are welcome to sit on the floor as well.
