Accessibility
The Raclin Murphy Museum of Art is committed to making our spaces and our collection accessible to all visitors.
- Manually operated wheelchairs are located near the Museum's Welcome Desk and are free of charge on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- An accessible drop-off is located at the entrance on St. André Way, which can accommodate cars, vans, and buses.
- Single-occupancy restrooms are located on the Lower Level.
- Wheelchair-accessible restrooms are located on all levels.
- Changing tables are available in every restroom. A lactation room is located on Level 3.
- Portable gallery stools are available in the coat room on Level 1. The Stockholm II gallery stool has been tested for a load capacity of 243 lbs. When unfolded, the stool is 25 inches wide, 15 inches deep, and 28 inches high. Limited seating can be found in galleries.
- American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters can be provided upon request. Please get in touch with Visitor Services at least two weeks in advance.
- Service dogs trained to perform specific tasks for an individual with a disability are welcome in the Museum.
