Considered by many as the father of modern photography, Alfred Stieglitz raised the status of photography to the level of art at the turn of the 20th century.  At 5:30 pm, Curator of Photography, David Acton, will speak on Stieglitz in the exhibition Pictorialism: The Fine Art of Photography.  The gallery talk will be followed by a screening of Alfred Stieglitz: The Eloquent Eye (2001) from 6-7:30 pm.
 
All 3rd Thursdays are free, open to all, include refreshments, exciting programs, interesting people, amazing works of art, and are a great way to connect with art in new ways. All of the exhibitions will be on view.
