Friends of the Snite Museum are planning on Celebrating Frank in 2017. In honor of the 150th anniversary of his birth, the first Art & Architecture trip of the year will be to tour Frank Lloyd Wright homes in Chicago on April 5. His home and studio, the Oak Park neighborhood and the Robie House are all on the agenda.

ITINERARY
Eastern time
7:30 am - Board Cardinal bus, Lot D6 South off Dorr Road
7:45 am – Depart campus, snacks served en route
Central time
8:45 am – Arrive FLW Home & Studio
Break into three smaller groups for touring indoors at 9, 9:10 & 9:20. Tours will then stagger departure for Oak Park neighborhood walking tours at 10, 10:10 & 10:20. Staggered starts and stops will allow time for visiting their gift shop.
11:30 am - Board bus for lunch
12:00 pm - Lunch at Winberie’s with selected menu, including beverage and dessert, is pre-paid with trip. Adult beverages available at additional cost.
1:00 pm – Board bus
1:45 pm – Arrive Robie House, Hyde Park
Break into three smaller groups for touring at 2, 2:15 & 2:30
3:30 pm – Load bus, depart Chicago
Eastern time
6:00 pm – Arrive campus
PLEASE NOTE: The Home & Studio and the Robie House are multi-level buildings and not handicap accessible. Guests will need to navigate stairs and be able to stand for approximately one hour. Please let us know if you have special needs and we will try to make accommodations.
