Delinda Collier is Associate Professor of Art History, Theory, and Criticism at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She is author of Repainting the Walls of Lunda: Information Colonialism and Angolan Art and articles on Southern African, new media, and Cold War era art. Her current book project is on the history of new media art in Africa.
The speaker is co-sponsored by the Snite Museum of Art and the Africa Working Group of the Kellogg Institute for International Studies at the University of Notre Dame.
Prof. Collier's campus visit is part of the celebration of the Snite Museum's new exhibition, Dimensions of Power: African Art at the Snite Museum of Art.
