Join a uniting drum circle, talk with members of the community about their lives and the role that art plays in them, create a work of art that will bring beauty and healing into the world, and learn more about your community.

Seeds of Change

Ashbaugh Education Center, Lower Level

Take something negative and use it to grow something beautiful and healing in the world.

 

Getting to Know the Civil Rights Heritage Center

Annenberg Auditorium and Lobby, Lower Level

Watch a short video about the Center, listen to the stories of people living in South Bend through South Bend’s Own Words, explore images of South Bend’s African American and civil rights experiences through an online exhibition, and talk with curator George Garner about the Center and how to get involved.

All 3rd Thursdays are from 5:00 - 7:30 p.m., free, open to all, include refreshments, and are a great way to connect with art in new ways. The entire Museum will be open during the event.

 

Free shuttle from 4:45-7:45 p.m. between the Compton Family Ice Arena lot and the Museum or park for free in the Stadium, Joyce, or Walsh Architecture lots south of football stadium and walk to Snite Museum.
