7:30 a.m. Board Cardinal Bus, Dorr Road Lot
(lot entrance off Dorr Road, south of WNDU-TV on Rt 933)
7:45 a.m. Depart Notre Dame campus, light snack en route
10:30 a.m. Arrive Maumee Bay State Park
- Short lecture on what is the Biggest Week in American Birding
- Free time for bird watching from the boardwalk, visiting the nature center, or walking the designated paths
11:50 a.m. Gather in lodge
12:00 p.m. Lunch in private room overlooking the marsh
12:50 p.m. Board Cardinal Bus
1:00 p.m. Depart Maumee Bay State Park
1:20 p.m. Arrive Toledo Museum of Art
1:30 p.m. Split into two groups for docent-led tour
- The Mummies: Egypt to Toledo
2:30 p.m. Free time to visit:
- Before Audubon: Alexander Wilson’s Birds of the United States
- Permanent collection or gift shop
- Glass Pavilion (across street)
4:00 p.m. Board Cardinal Bus
4:15 p.m. Depart Toledo Museum of Art, light snack en route
6:30 p.m. Arrive Notre Dame campus
